Recent DNS attack on

On Friday 11 October, a group calling themselves "TeaM MADLEETS" redirected to an alternative IP address. This affected Google Malaysia search online. The "TeaM MADLEETS" hackers are from Pakistan and claim to be "White Hat" and ethical hackers, exposing weaknesses in web systems. The domain was repaired within a few hours of detection.
This example of hacking, luckily rather benign, shows that even the biggest web companies can be vulnerable to attack, also considering that Google would have security as the No. 1 priority.
Web applications, websites and the internet can be quite complicated, if we consider the pressure that is put on developers to deliver more and more features. All this complexity results in difficult bug and security analysis when we consider the internet is open to the whole world. The most sensitive data is credit card and personal data.
Any security is good security, in addition to 3 backups of your website and data.
